oregon local customs,tourist attractions Introduction

Oregon is located in the northwestern United States and the Pacific Ocean on the East West Idaho, North and south is ranged from California and Washington is a good place for a Shanqingshuixiu. As for why was dubbed the "Republic of China", the reason is always the diverse. But I guess the main, probably because the state has too many local characteristics of the legal provisions and policies, and the United States compared to other federal states is more like an independent state. This point is the state motto described AlisVolatPropiis (Latin, meaning "with her own wings").
Capital of Salem (Salem), the largest city of Portland (Portland).

Portland is a quiet and tidy city, although there are many big cities in the United States, but since I came to Portland tourism, they fell in love with the United States Coast town. Here the natural environment can be said that the United States is like a painting, everywhere the scenery will make people leave a deep impression.
In addition to the southeast of the relative desolation, Oregon is full of fascinating tourist attractions. Click the Scott mountains is located in the central part of the state, the cascade and translated in Chinese means "waterfall", in that area, indeed all over the pleasing waterfalls. Near the capital of Salem is a state park, hidden in the temperate rainforests by Douglas cedar, set up a seven mile long loop trail. Visitors can while hiking while enjoying the ten different posture beautiful waterfall.
Then north to the junction of Washington state, is the famous Columbia River Canyon Scenic area. From the eastern suburbs of Portland began to have a mountain road along the meandering river fifty miles, the perfect design is called the king of the road. The car is like walking in the shade corridor, every few miles there is a waterfall hanging on the mountain.

Using all natural ingredients, due to geographical diversification, Oregon produces a large number of high-quality wild and growing food, pear, salmon, mushrooms, berries, and local breeding of beef, and a variety of seafood. Statewide agricultural markets continue to grow, many professional or amateur chefs are attracted to come, get their favorite fresh ingredients. Perhaps this is the Oregon pioneer nature dictates, but in this enterprising culture, food is should be done attentively, and is worth it.
In a short period of forty years, Oregon's modern brewing industry completed the leap from the start to the world famous. Since the last century, some of the 60s wine pioneer decided to move here, the number of wineries (now more than 400) with a staggering rate of growth year by year. Championship level Pinot makes Oregon as approachable and down-to-earth wine region is renowned far and near, ready to welcome visitors to taste their fine wine.

On Mount Hood is an active volcano, the last eruption was in 1866. Hu Deshan is the highest mountain in Oregon, and relatively easy to climb, every year there will be 10000 people to climb a mountain. Hu Deshan snow area has become Oregon famous ski resort, every year there will be a lot of people to the ski.
Hood Mount
One of the ten most dangerous volcanoes in the United States.

the 30 Jesuit reducciones that were spread across what’s now Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay were populated by more than 100,000 Guaraní.
Each mission had a minimum of Europeans: two priests was the norm, and the Guaraní governed themselves under the Jesuits’ spiritual authority.
The Jesuits made no attempt to force the Guaraní to speak Spanish and only sought to change those aspects of Guaraní culture – polygamy and occasional cannibalism – that clashed with Catholic teaching.
Each Guaraní family was given a house and children were schooled.
The typical reducción consisted of a large central plaza, dominated by the church and colegio, which housed the priests and also contained art workshops and storerooms.
The houses of the Guaraní occupied the rest of the settlement in neat rows; other buildings might include a hospital, a cotiguazú that housed widows and abandoned wives, and a cabildo (town council building) where the Guaraní’s chosen leader lived.
The settlements were self-sufficient; the Guaraní were taught agriculture and food was distributed equally.
As time went on and the missions grew, wooden buildings were replaced by stone ones and the churches, designed by master architects with grandiose utopian dreams, were stunning edifices with intricate baroque stonework and sculpture comparable with the finest churches being built in Europe at the time.
Indeed, the missions’ most enduring achievement was perhaps artistic.
The Guaraní embraced the art and music they were introduced to and, interweaving European styles with their own, produced beautiful music, sculpture, dance and painting in ‘Guaraní baroque’ style.
The Jesuits’ religious music strongly attracted the Guaraní to Catholicism.
However, mission life necessarily had a martial side.
Raiding parties of bandeirantes (armed bands) from Brazil regularly sought slaves for sugar plantations, and the Jesuits were resented by both Spanish and Portuguese colonial authorities.
There were regular skirmishes and battles until a notable victory over an army of 3000 slavers at Mbororó in 1641 ushered in a period of comparative security.
The mission period came to an abrupt end.
Various factors, including envy from the colonial authority and settlers, and a feeling that the Jesuits were more loyal to their own ideas than those of the Crown, prompted Carlos III of Spain to ban them from his dominions in 1767, following the lead of Portugal and France.
With the priests gone, the communities were vulnerable and the Guaraní gradually dispersed.
The decaying missions were then ruined in the wars of the early 19th century.
The 1986 film The Mission is about the last days of the Jesuit missions.
Most intriguing is the casting of a Colombian tribe, the Waunana (who had had almost no contact with white people) as the Guaraní.
Almost nothing remains of several of Argentina’s 15 missions, but those well worth visiting include San Ignacio Miní in San Ignacio, Loreto and Santa Ana; Yapeyú; and Santa María la Mayor.
The fabulous Paraguayan missions at Jesús de Tavarangüe and Trinidad can be easily visited on a day trip too.
There are others to visit not too far away in southern Brazil.
Sights San Ignacio Miní RUIN (www.misiones-jesuiticas.com.
ar; entrance Calle Alberdi s/n; joint missions ticket AR$70; 7am-6pm Apr-Sep, 7am-7pm Oct-Mar) These mission ruins are the most complete of those in Argentina: atmospheric and impressive for the quantity of carved ornamentation still visible and for the amount of restoration.
The interpretation center provides good background information, and the ruins themselves feature interactive panels providing multilingual audio.
Admission includes entry to the nearby ruins at Santa Ana and Loreto and also to Santa María la Mayor, a little further afield.
There is a worthwhile sound-and-light show (foreigners AR$70) at the ruins every non-rainy night.
First founded in 1610 in Brazil, but abandoned after repeated attacks by slavers, San Ignacio was established here in 1696 and functioned until the Jesuit expulsion.
The ruins, rediscovered in 1897 and restored between 1940 and 1948, are a great example of ‘Guaraní baroque.
’ At its peak, the settlement had a Guaraní population of nearly 4000.
The interpretation center is an impressive display with plenty of unbiased information (in Spanish and English) about the missions from both Jesuit and Guaraní perspectives.
You can listen to Guaraní music, including some religious pieces composed at the missions, and inspect a virtual model of San Ignacio as it would have been.
There are free guided tours (multilingual) of the ruins.
You first pass between rows of Guaraní houses before arriving at the plaza, on one side of which is the enormous red sandstone church.
Impressive in its dimensions, it is the focal point of the settlement.
While the red-brown stone is very picturesque in its contrast with the green grass, the buildings were originally white.
Before lime was available, it was obtained by burning snail shells.
Times for the nightly show vary according to number of groups.
It’s a touching, at times haunting, experience played out in various locations using projections onto a mist of water spray, giving a ghostlike quality.
Headsets offer a variety of languages.
Casa de Horacio Quiroga HOUSE (Av Quiroga s/n; admission AR$20; 8am-6pm) Uruguayan writer Horacio Quiroga was a get- back-to-nature type who found his muse in the rough-and-ready Misiones backwoods lifestyle.
His simple house at the southern end of town (a 30-minute walk) was built by himself out of stone.
To reach it, you walk along a trail through sugarcane, where panels (in English, too) detail the events of a deeply tragic life so full of shotgun accidents and doses of cyanide it’s almost funny.
Grand views of the Paraná inspired Quiroga to write his regionally based stories.
Activities Head down to the Parque Provincial Teyú Cuaré, a protected peninsula on the Río Paraná, for forest walking and cycling, views, river beaches and Guaraní heritage.
Tours Tierra Colorada TOUR ( 15-437-6220; maicolback@gmail.com; RN12) This all-round helpful operator just below the bus terminal – look for the Misionerita restaurant – runs tours to the Paraguayan missions (per person for four people AR$250), or to the Moconá falls (AR$300).
It also hires bikes, runs kayaking trips on the river and visits to Guaraní settlements, stores baggage, books buses and gives impartial tourist information.
Sleeping & Eating Various simple eating options – serving burgers, pizzas and milanesas – crowd the streets around the ruins; most are open during the day only.
Hotel La Toscana HOTEL $ ( 447-0777; www.hotellatoscana.com.
ar; cnr H Irigoyen & Uruguay; s/d AR$180/260; ) In a peaceful part of town half a block from the highway, this simple, welcoming Italian-run place is a relaxing retreat indeed.
Cool and spacious basic rooms surround a great pool, deck and garden area.
It’s a top spot to unwin

In the incomplete diary (seven) - Portland city - the moment
The west coast of North Portland, as the largest city of oregon.
I'm here, the beginning is really not to regard it as right there.
The downtown city is not large, not what buildings.
There seemed to be no matter what time did what people in the office are always feel empty.
However, in fact, this city has a very good reputation, is very suitable for living.
From the hotel to go to work on foot, walk five or six blocks to the.
The only after a bus pass Sixth Street, lush trees on both sides, the morning sun shone through the leaves, warm, suddenly reminds me of singapore.
In fact, many Singaporeans building too much, do not know which nerve let me put here in Singapore and link up, maybe this is not what is related.
Portland is known to rain, did not think of when I gave my best sunshine.
Lived in Portland for a week, I do not know how to feel more and more love.
Look carefully, this is really a nice city, clean streets, elegant old buildings, people under the sun leisurely, make everything feel just perfect.
I love the end of the day, while the sun is still bright, wandering in this strange city.
The sun was very long, the city was surrounded by green trees, a wild profusion of vegetation, the evening can't let a person love.
In the streets of Portland city took a lot of photos, see the love with the camera lens to record something, I hope it makes me more sensitive to some strange places.
That will see some of the weird person in the street before going to Portland, and some interesting people on the street, talking to people in the United States but everywhere is not unusual, and some have long hair and a long beard man, clothes, carrying a large bag, let people eat not what is a tramp or an artiSt. See the road passing convertible car, driving is a bare upper part of the black, very nice color.
In addition to that in every corner cafe sitting in front of people drink chat.
Time to go home, the aircraft off over Portland, you can see the snow capped mountains.
Remember the snow capped mountain is Yunnan north of ERON last seen, it seems so far, need to go to a place to see numerous hills and streams.
Here, the snow seemed to be on their own doorstep, from the fifth floor office window can see.
This, I do not know is not also a kind of happiness.
